Video Interview where we had to answer questions, it was not a live interview. You needed to record your answer to each question and could re-recorded your answer if you were not happy with it.

Interview
I was directed by the receptionist to wait in the foyer. The interviewer arrived promptly and I followed them into a private room used for interviews. We began the one to one interview with a transcriber present; beginning with quick, personal questions. Next we proceeded to the main questions, a series of 11 questions based around my experience in customer services.

Have I ever gone out of my way to aid a customer in a similar role?
Tedious and time consuming. Before they arrange an interview you have to complete your work history and education. Afterwards I got an email asking me to complete their online assessment based on scenarios you can face in work and a mathematical assessment where you are presented a sequence and you’re given four multiple choices to click which answer matches the sequence and you have under ten seconds to answer each question. After I completed the assessment immediately I received an email to say they will no longer be processing my application and this delays me from applying for any jobs with Barclays for the next six months.
