Pros

Great team vibes from all the individuals in the team

Cons

Business model based on super greedy and mindless cheap cheaper mentality to sell at all costs design services no matter the cultural implications it might have on their long-term stability and prosperity of their teams, the long-term impact on their clients, all this with very questionable professional ethos. The leadership uses this jack-of-all trades model where for example one person has to take in 3 roles like Lead Designer + Account Manager + Project Manager across multiple projects. For example they are more than happy to offer much cheaper junior designers (with far from perfect english and clear lack of preparation for the role) from Portugal and Spain to work on huge London City investment banks, and this cheaper designers will work and compete remotely with all the other Senior Designer and London based ones like nothing has ever happened, in my view this has huge cultural implication both from a costumer relationship perspective, from a fair competition perspective and most of all from the disrupting local economies perspectives. This is the equivalent of Chelsea FC hiring 2 remote strikers (who fly in just for the weekend matches and who are not prepared at all for the task) from Portugal and Spain to play for the Premier League alongside the local players who work and live every single day in London and who contribute to the local economy as citizens of the UK... On my experience with this leadership I also felt a too "tribalistic" modus operandi, too aggressive on us-agaisnt-them mentality whenever there was a chance for it mixed with an "Alcapone-ish" subtlety of "lets find a way to get what we must get"...

Pros

Some genuinely nice people who do care about work, but in minority.

Cons

My short experience is basically in line with other bad reviews on this site. - On-boarding and relocation are very basic and not much help can be expected. - They don't respect engineers. Engineers are just expendable goods to them. Engineering staff fluctuation is huge. That is why the interviewing process is so basic. They don't look to engineers as long term assets. - Even though they told me that it is English speaking work environment, everyone around me spoke Spanish 90% of the time, even when talking about projects and tasks that concern me, which would often leave me out of the loop. - Totally sales oriented, it is only important to sell projects, it doesn’t matter if there is currently nobody available to execute them. - They don’t care about what kind of conditions people are working and the equipment is subpar. They do give iPhone as standard when it is much more important to invest more in better laptops. This is an example of their way of thinking. - Because experienced and senior engineers don't stick around in this firm much, there are mostly junior engineers working on projects, and the quality of work is low. - They have more all kinds of managers then engineering staff. They have a lot of account, sales and all sorts of manager that are working with customers to persuade them. - Managers are often meddling into technical subjects that they don't fully understand. They are incompetent, arrogant and self-serving. They put pressure on you even when there is no reason for it and you couldn’t possibly do anything better. They convince customer that firm can do projects for which there is nobody educated for or even done any proof of concept. - Teamwork or any sensible organization and project management is completely unfathomable to this firm. There are never team meetings. Hierarchy is very chaotic. General lack of communication and organization. - Low to average salary. No bonuses of any kind. No any other kind of benefits. I don't think that any self-respecting engineer should ever want to work for these guys, especially if he/she is not Spanish.
