Pros

Lots of different projects, you can really learn a lot

Cons

No personal life, you need to be working 12-14h every day, if not more, and many times during weekends. Managers don't really care about you, they just care about getting ahead

Pros

Even if the starting salary is not the best, there is a big chance to grow and develop your professional and people skills, everis is a company where you can reach out your limits and have a lifetime career. Everis also has one of the best benefits packages in consulting firms.

Cons

This is not a "con" but since people are talking about it in other reviews I will start by saying that in everis you have to work a lot if you want to grow and have a good salary, that means working lots of overtime and catching up with coworkers that have more skills than you do, because at everys promotions are based on grades and you get graded along with people in your category who are even in other offices. If you want to get a poor raise a year but working relaxed then just do as expected. payment is monthly which is a lot of time to wait for a paycheck. Depending on the project you get assined to, the entry process can be long and uncomfortable because nobody has time to go over your expected tasks and train you. Also some managers have the idea that quality of work is related to overtime and might think you are not doing a good job if you are only covering your forty hours a week.

Pros

Most reviews here paint the picture of the company from two years ago. Management has taken great strides to make the company a motivating and good place to work. If you are responsible and show interest and responsability you will not have any problem meeting expectations. As with any consulting company you will have to SOMETIMES work more then you would normally. This is one of the points where everis still has to get better at, managing the client so you dont put your employees in a bad situation. The benefits are absolutly great, from healthcare all the way to 401k. There has been a lot of critic here about cultural views, as they spend more time here they are understanding that they cannot impose their culture and becoming more flexible to the american way of working. There are a lot of opportunities to learn different technologies and work on different projects - mostly in the banking sector for now. Growth in salary and responsabilities is very aggressive compared to the normal american model. Most of the people that participated in the behaviour detailed in other reviews are long gone from the company. Most situations described here were from the Alabama office, and the current managment that should be reaching two years has done an outstanding job correcting these situations. The changes and proactiveness of the human resources personnel have also impacted the company in agreat way. The training programs have gone feom non existent in 2012 to one of the best in 2015 - providing accesibility to professional certifications and soft skill trainings. You personally get to meet and freely speak with many members of management , including CEO and partners.

Cons

Its a consulting company and thus comes with all the same cons as a company like Accenture/BCG, etc. Some spaniards cannot keep their attitudes in check - very few of these remaining. Hiring decisions have gotten better but still need to improve. Language barrier sometimes becomes a deterrent in some situations. Should attract and develop more local talent instead of bringing more spaniards.
