Pros

Working hard towards getting the right management in place to make a difference at the store, to change things for better production.

Cons

Currently a lot of employees aren't happy with Supervision and Management (too harsh on workers, with a, "Walmart allows for me to terminate you for anything or without cause attitude!" Currently, no adequate support or outlet for their employees.

Pros

One of the best reasons I like working for Walmart is because of how flexible I’m able to be with scheduling. I’ve worked closing shift now for the last three years, but I’ve been able to shift and change my schedule slightly depending on if I’m doing college or not in-between with little to no issue. The job itself is relatively easy, and the workplace atmosphere is nice. Full-time benefits are great too, especially with access to things like their educational and insurance benefits.

Cons

Some of the only downsides I can truly say about the place is that staffing issues have been terrible at times. But even then, that’s mostly a result of the pandemic since every place has been short lately. If not that, then the pay, which right now is around $13/hr for front end associates. It’s not the best, especially considering some of the other departments have a higher wage than us.

Pros

You get to work from home.

Cons

Lack of leadership. Lack of training. Callers are allowed to speak to you however they want with no repercussions. What little leadership there is lacks training on very important issues such as medical accommodations and LOA. This is what led to my wrongful termination. The job is mentally and emotionally taxing and there is no support in place to help work through that aspect.
