Pros

Store is in a nice location, some of the tools are very innovative for a retail company.

Cons

This store is not the same store it was 20 years ago. Severely understaffed in a multitude of departments, stocking is a joke as it’s better to put full packs in back than fill a shelf, half the normal associates don’t care and coach’s as they are called now are more about throwing weight around and making you do busy work. Everyone is looked as thieves including customers and store personnel, I’ve had team leads tell me to take the return instead of spending time with the customers who are all older generation to understand the products, training is a joke.

Pros

Sometimes the company favors employees in decisions and or works with you to get what you want. Most managers work with your schedule.

Cons

Most Mangers favor certain employees and overwork those who don't always agree with them. A lot of overlooked problems if it has to do with managers. And they are quick to dismiss anyone who is not able to do what management specifically wants. I saw many people get hired for one job, forced to do everyone else's job and get fired for not being able to do other people job and finish their own. I did this for 6 years, and when I finally got to overworked, they fought me for trying to take my days off.

Pros

Good pay rate for unskilled labor

Cons

Unskilled labor and with emphasis on the unskilled that goes for management. Horrible working conditions. They treat their employees as disposable even when you are the main reason an area is even getting any work done. Management are morons, don't care about their work, lazy, and have a superiority complex. Walmart doesn't know how to hire real leadership. You might think I am kidding or just very disgruntled, but believe me when i say that credit will always be taken by management for things you do, when they aren't even actually managing. Management spends most of their time just talking in their offices about nonwork things, hiding, smoking outside, leaving work entirely, and then saying they were working off premises. If you are thinking of management then your good because you wont be expected to do anything. You can use this company for a year or two to get management experience, and then throw them away like trash because that's how they will treat you.
