The technology, the colleagues, the compensations and benefits.

Local management is really bad, even worst. VMware is a great company, however the local office of Madrid became the personal club of the management. The level of this group of managers is so low, that literally no one is happy with them. Their presence on customers is something to avoid at any cost if you are the Account Manager. They don't have enough education or skills to deal with the top companies in Spain. Give a gun to a monkey, let him drink lots of alcohol, and this is the top management in VMware. Guess how many people has been fired since they arrive to VMware. One day this cancer will be out of VMware, then this place will be a perfect target for your professional career. Meanwhile, stay away from there, I am serious.
