Pros

I've been paid and can choose when I want to work

Cons

The audio files we transcribe aren't always clear, and obviously that can be frustrating sometimes but I enjoy doing this when I can understand the speakers well! If medical transcription work wasn't such a dying field with all the old highest paying jobs being outsourced I'd consider doing even more transcription.

Pros

Easy to sign up Easy to use Work when you want

Cons

I type about 90 WPM and I'm making somewhere around $3.25 per hour doing this. It is nearly impossible to "manage" to get minimum wage. Unless you're able to listen, understand, and type 150 WPM all in one smooth motion you will not make money transcribing for this company.

Pros

Consistent work. Except for low seasons/holidays.

Cons

Average pay. It would be much fair with a slight increase in pay.
