Pros

Work my own hours -- really great since I'm a college student and this gives me extra money on the side. Easy to use and access WorkHub. Files that I transcribe are quite interesting and I learned a lot about business and computer programming through transcribing. Special files called RUSH files pay more, so a lot of the time, I'm actually making more than $20 per hour.

Cons

Need to be a fast typer to fully get everything out of it and make the most per hour -- my typing speed is ~120 wpm. I can usually do an audio hour in about 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Pros

The best part was working at your own pace and time throughout a day. Work was fairly plentiful in the mornings.

Cons

Well first of all is the pay. They say $20 per audio hour which would be good if it didn't take so long to perfect everything. You get a 90 second long clip to transcribe which takes about 15-20 minutes at least to do. For that about you'd get paid 50 cents, so about $2 or maybe $3 if you get good clips. Second large majority of the clips are fuzzy and barely understandable so you need to listen multiple times. Third, if everything isn't almost exactly perfect, that entire clip gets rejected.

Pros

1. Flexible hours, no deadlines. You can work whenever you want. 2. The audios are very clear to me. I see many people complaining about the quality of the audios being terrible. But they're really not. 3. QA's seem to be easy going thus far. Not to nit picky.

Cons

1. The pay is a joke, I'm sorry, but $0.5000 for a file is just a joke. So you find yourself having to transcribe hours and hours of work only to pull away with just $5. 2. Not enough work to go around.
