Pros

The pros to working with TranscribeMe are many. I get to work from anywhere with a secure internet connection which means I can work from home as well as being able to take my job with me when my husband and I travel. Being able to work from home also means that I can work whenever I want whether that's standard business hours or during the wee hours of the morning. Also, the community of coworkers and team leads that has been built for this company is just amazing. There is always someone available to answer questions and the atmosphere is so encouraging and uplifting. It's truly amazing and a joy to work here.

Cons

My biggest challenge is that to really thrive in a work from home job you need to be organized and diligent about your time spent working.

Pros

You can work from anywhere

Cons

Often will say there aren't any jobs available This is $20 per every hour of audio that you transcribe. Depending on how fast you go it will be much much less than that. I take an average of ten minutes to do a 1:30 minute audio clip. That amounts to $3/HR. I imagine once you get longer clips and you can minimize downtime your rate will rise but not by much. Not worth it.
