Pros

Three stars just because other companies know how harsh life in TransPerfect is, so when they see it in your CV you have an edge. Excellent stepping stone that can lead to another better job in the translation industry. Good way to make contacts to become a freelancer later on in the future. At the beginning, you will learn an astounding amount of things. Joining with a "this is a stepping stone job" will benefit you. Use them just like they will use you. As soon as you can get a new, better paid job, leave.

Cons

As a Translation Project Coordinator, stress will get to you sooner or later. The overall philosophy of the company can be summarized in these few points: 1. suck all the energies out of our people, make them work like beasts of burden until they blow up. 2. who cares if people leave, they are interchangeable. 3. if someone complains about being stressed out, provide false hope that the future will be less stressful so they can clench their teeth a little more. There was a point, when I was working in there, where someone would have a nervous breakdown every other day.

Pros

Average salary, nice offices , young people

Cons

They can just fire you at any moment, I think the owners choose countries in which they can do as they please.
