Cold Calling sales job

Pros

Pay and PTO was great Employees were really nice.

Cons

-The job is essentially a cold calling sales job. Most of the customers you outreach to do not want to be bothered and hang up on you. Combine that with an unrealistic say yes rate of 90% to customers who didn't even ask for your services. -Training was all over the place. -The systems and processes were outdated. Had to navigate through five or six systems for every call and most steps were redundant. Like using three systems to essentially log the same information instead of them being connected. -Time was extremely micromanaged. Every single minute of your day had to be accounted for using one of the many systems. -Health benefits were very expensive especially since this is a health insurance company.

Pros

For nearly 12 years Cigna seemed committed to doing the right thing for customers, providers, and employees.

Cons

They have lost their souls. Mistreating customers, providers, and employees to improve their bottom line... and c-suite.

Used to be great but quickly going down hill

Pros

The only reason I stay is because I’m comfortable. My coworkers and direct manager is great but beyond that not much. I guess the cafeteria is a plus. 401k and pto is decent.

Cons

Bonus, pay, and promotions are sketchy at best. Upper management has a huge lack of transparency and it is blatantly clear the upper management generally just doesn’t care about the employees. The required return to office but slashed the bonus’ and the raises don’t even match inflation. Insurance is okay but not the best.
