too much politics to allow anything to get accomplished; with all the mergers, there's an "us vs them" culture. Many of the employees have been there for a decade+ and aren't happy about new people joining and don't want to consider other ways of doing things. I've heard there are better groups but it is hard to find those groups since the Technology Org is so complex and some managers keep you isolated so you're trapped. As employees, we have to use Cigna insurance which is really terrible, especially if you don't live in a big city. Very little options for providers, they try to force you to use their mail order pharmacy and pull them away from your personal pharmacist and you pay out of pocket for all appointments until you reach a deductible of thousands of dollars. They reimburse so little that I had to pay out of pocket for a generic drug b/c Cigna reimbursed so little, it didn't even cover the pharmacy's cost. My specialist is constantly fighting with cigna to pay the contracted/negotiated rate that cigna agreed to but still denies/will not pay.
