      Pros

      Teladoc Health is an exciting, growing company that provides access to virtual healthcare globally. Being in this industry at the tipping point of adoption is very exciting. Teladoc Health compensates fairly, provides good work-life balance, and is flexible about working from home. No micromanaging. Smart colleagues.

      Cons

      Maintain a US-centric mentality. They do not take advantage of existing knowledge, experience, skill and loyalty of existing employees to develop and promote from within. Management didn't support or communicate newly developed role to align with the team, setting the role up for failure. A lot of talk about transparency but don't live up to the promise.

      Pros

      Excellent benefits! (competitive salary, 401k matching, stock purchase plan, regular performance reviews, stock options, bonuses, healthcare coverage, education reimbursement, referral program, pizza Thursdays... and on and on...). Teladoc also offers career advancement opportunity for smart, capable people who are willing to take initiative. Teladoc has multiple locations across the US and for the most part it's a big family. This company tries to make a difference and they are genuinely trying to improve culture and morale. HR in Phoenix is quite refreshing... not stuffy, super relatable, creates open, trusting lines of communication.

      Cons

      Dust is still settling from the multiple acquisitions, so we're playing catchup at times, but it's a good problem to have. There are some legacy bad apples that we can do without, but every company has them. Hopefully they are managed out over time.
