Teladoc Health interview questions

My experience with Teladoc Health's recruiting process started on a disappointing note. The initial recruiter screen felt one-sided — the recruiter came across as disengaged and didn't seem to know how to hold a productive conversation with a senior candidate. There was little curiosity about my background and no real dialogue. First impressions matter in recruiting, especially at the executive level. Teladoc would benefit from better preparing its talent team for these conversations. Candidates with options will draw conclusions about company culture from exactly these moments.

I interviewed with a VP and was then asked to complete a technical take-home assignment. The expectation was to deliver a fully functional prototype within 48 hours, with an estimated effort of about 8 hours, despite the job description saying coding expertise was not required. I completed the assignment and then presented the solution during a separate one-hour interview. In my view, the scope and turnaround time for the assignment were completely unreasonable for an interview process, especially without compensation. After that, I had a lighter 30-minute technical interview that was fairly straightforward. Unfortunately, after investing significant time in the process, I was ghosted by the recruiter despite following up. Overall, the process felt overly demanding and poorly communicated. Based on my experience, I would be cautious about investing substantial unpaid time in this company’s interview process.
