Pros

- Possibility of remote and good hardware - Stable teams and stable projects - Good balance between workload and commitments

Cons

- Too hierarchical - Impossible to perform any lateral or Up movements inside IT positions - This means that it is too difficult to take new responsibilities, stand out from your team and therefore impossible to advance in your career (IT Development). A problem that do not happen in other career paths more related with Business, that seem to move frequently up and down in responsibility positions and also travel more frequently.
