Thank you for taking the time to share your experience as a Travel Advisor at TUI. It's great to hear that you appreciated our travel concessions and staff discount benefits, which are indeed some of the most valued perks of working with us. We're also pleased that you found our customer focus approach positive and enjoyed the CSQ rewards system that recognizes excellent customer service. It's particularly encouraging to hear that you found good progression opportunities during your time with us. We acknowledge your concerns about weekend hours, pressure, and the target-focused environment. The travel industry does come with certain scheduling challenges, and we understand this can impact work-life balance. While targets are an important part of our business model, we continuously review our approach to ensure they remain motivating rather than overwhelming. We value your contributions during your time with us and appreciate your balanced feedback, as it helps us identify areas where we can improve the employee experience while maintaining the positive aspects you highlighted. Thank you again for sharing your thoughts about your time at TUI. Best wishes from the TUI Employer Brand Social Media Team

Pros

Pay, colleagues, rostering generally ok. Lucky to get long-haul or trips. 90% of roster is there and back short haul and very very long hours. Good union who stick up for you.

Cons

6 month summer only contract!!! - Compared to competitors it can take over 20 years to get a year round contract, very strict on absence management, training isn't very in depth. After a while you get given 'PPY - Permanent Part Year' this is either 6 months or 7 months where you are guaranteed a role for the summer months starting in April or May. Currently going through a 'transformation' as crew you are not informed until decisions have been made, such as closing two bases in the last six months.
