Pros

Pay is well for people who need employment or money; and for people who have no college education.

Cons

Easy to get fired. First shift starts at 4am. You're basically on the front line of security out in the open with no protection if an attack occurs. The public will verbally attack you any chance they get because they do not like TSA. You can not respond negatively or you may lose your job. Officers have been physically attacked at the job but you are not supposed to fight back.
