Pros

It's what you make it on a cash standpoint. Officers willing to give up shifts, OT and holiday pay.

Cons

Advancement is at a minimum, not on gs scale, a lot of things within based on seniority, have to kiss tail in order to move up, high school work environment, can't take a vacation like you could in other federal organizations.
