Pros

No stress , money ok dingle along as you like, get benefits and say you didn’t get trained when stress comes up. Because YOU really didn’t get trained, get thrown under the bus from service coordinators. Management was let go that was helpful remaining management doesn’t give a sh….t how you deal with customer issues. No service manager

Cons

Management has no communication ideas and all management are constantly on their own internal management meetings about meetings.effectively nothing gets done and your get send from a to b looking for answers

Pros

My direct supervisor was wonderful and flexible. Hybrid schedule due to COVID of 2 days in office and 3 at home.

Cons

Pay is abysmal but that is to be expected with a non profit. They expect interpreters to be available to travel very far and off hours. No overtime or bonus for this just "flex days off".

Pros

Colleagues and the people your work with.

Cons

Recently Telus has been a very stingy place when it comes to compensation and equality or even equity. there are "Super stars" within the organization weather by years of employment or skills. everyone else is just a sl*ves. take for an example the recent pandemic. One of the pad economy outcomes in inflation. Senior Management has been asked to compensate people for the recent high inflation. Every company and organization that i know of has compensated staff by raising salary by 6-10%. and it makes sense because everyone is impacted. In Telus, Senior MGMT decided instead of compensating everyone due to the impact of inflation, they can use that pocket of money to compensate the "Super stars" this way they get more. what about everyone else who lives in the same country and affected as well, the answer "Sorry, it is a decision that was made after a lot of thoughts". meaning that they should be thankful that they have a job and the piece of bread we give you everyday to feed your family. Very humiliating. can't say anymore. not sure if this happens in all departments. but happened under their CSO.
