Pros

The talent pool is lacking, if you have a point 4 IQ you will be ahead of the curve. There really are no Pros.

Cons

Where to begin....Management is absolutely horrible. Starr seems to only hire incompetent people. No one is held accountable for anything. HR is a complete disaster. The talented people do not stay long. A lot of old men walking around doing nothing except talking about how great they are and waiting for the dining hall to open. No succession plan. No flex working hours. Completely old fashion, they do not want to grow with the times. No investment in training. Forced to share office space which created a bed bug issue. Not a nice place, everyone is miserable.

Plane crash of a company!

Pros

Benefits are the only thing going for them. Everything else is garbage!

Cons

Toxic culture. No work from home options! Just up and decided to force everyone back 5 days a week even though we all proved we are productive working remotely, but because we have a stubborn and arrogant 95 year old running the company, he's not willing to listen . He's driving his own company in the ground!! He's surrounded by a bunch of 'yes" men who are too cowardly to stand up to him. Anybody who complains and voices their concerns about the no remote option, then suddenly you are no longer "starr material" that's a complete slap in the face! Everybody here is absolutely miserable and looking for another job!

Discrimination and broken promises

Pros

Probably a good place to work if you are white. Good old boys club.

Cons

All of the upper management are white males. There are no blacks or women at the top. We were promised we would just have to return to the office two days a week after teleworking for two years in writing. That promise was broken with no explanation. We are in the office most days. There is no compassion that we are paying $300-$400 a month in gas with the price surge we cannot afford to drive to work. Most people are looking for jobs.
