Pros

The hourly pay is high compared to similar jobs, there are good benefits offered to part time employees, it is typically a fast paced work environment, schedules are flexible, and there are leadership opportunities.

Cons

The biggest downside is that store management varies. I have worked at stores with excellent managers who are organized and professional, but I have also been at stores that do not run smoothly because of the managers. Also, it can be very difficult to get time off during the holidays.

Pros

I love working for starbucks. I love the camaraderie, team work and sense of community with our customers. Good benefits and will work with your schedule needs. Great job to have while going to school.

Cons

There is a tendency to take advantage of hard workers who are willing to do the job. I feel these partners should be compensated and the promotion process should be a clearer, more define, and timely process with accurate compensation.
