A good place to start, ethical and responsible company, but hit and miss management.

Pros
After 12 months you get better health-car benefits than most insurance company employees. Paid vacations. Free whole-bean coffee, and discounts. The job *can be fun.
Cons
Some managers will run you into the ground. You will generally do your work, plus the work of others just to keep the store moving. Limited support from management. Virtually no training or learning opportunities in leadership or management. Starbucks was very good about working with students, now they are becoming very inflexible. Students can't make schedule requests unless they have vacation hours to use. Which basically means you can't plan any time for family or school your first year there.
