Pros

The team members are great.

Cons

The company is constantly changing policies and workflows without listening to the people who actually use them on a daily basis. Hard work is rewarded with more work and no recognition.

Thank you. At Springer Nature we work closely with a large global community of academic researchers and educators who, through their work, aim to leave the world better than they found it, As one of the world's largest publishers of research and education content, our sustainable strategy considers both what we do to open doors to discovery as well as how we do it. Many of our almost 10,000 colleagues are proud of the work they do which directly impacts the environment and our society. We do listen and respond to colleague feedback and have committed new resources to help colleagues take ownership of their career. We created a global colleague career hub which is a one stop shop for our people to bring together resources, training, and events to help take ownership of their career. For colleagues who are new and others, like yourself, who have been with us for many years, we want to be clear about what we stand for and ensure that all colleagues have the support to develop and speak up with ideas. We want to be clear what our people can expect back from Springer Nature to nurture their plans. We recognise and respect all contributions of the great work and without our fantastic colleagues we wouldn't be able to deliver on our mission to help scientists and educators find solutions for our generations to come. HR supports and serves both employees and the company. While they ensure company policies are upheld, they also advocate for employee well-being, address concerns, and work to foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Disappointed to read your review on our European Glassdoor Site and sorry to hear that your experiences are not positive. I would challenge the point about 'all' colleagues being in the same family as this is not in line with our culture or indeed our hiring process at all. We support referrals and mobility however, we also ensure we have a diverse workforce. Diversity, Equity and Inclusion are are the core of our culture and we have recently started the process of more closely aligning SNTPS (Pune) with our global businesses so there will be more changes to come which will positively impact colleague development and growth.
