Pros

There are few pros now, the company outlook has changed so much now that it is being driven from the USA based VP of Sales.

Cons

Mid management are some of the worse I have worked for. The attitudes and conduct is beyond acceptable.

Thanks for your feedback, glad you enjoyed the cakes! It is not always possible to identify opportunities for promotion within the timeframes that suit an individual given there are less senior and leadership opportunities than hands on sales positions. We are keen to improve our support for employees with career development and are currently in the process of building a new program to do precisely this. I'm sorry this was not timely for you but wish you all the best in your future career. Charlie

Lack of direction

Pros

There are a great group of people at SiteMinder, and they do put in effort to make things comfortable. There are good facilities, sports teams, bike racks, and exercise groups. It's also in a good location.

Cons

There is a lack of direction from management, and a lot of bureaucracy and red tape for a medium sized company. The management is not willing give up control of the product, and are prone to changing their minds. The product is not robust, and development of new features is incredibly slow and inefficient. There are not many opportunities for growth within the company. Even though there are good facilities and good people, the culture is still one of distrust.
