Pros

None. So glad I saw the writing on the wall and left when I did.

Cons

Enough of the phony cheerleader reviews. Are people receiving incentives to write this stuff? This company is a shell of its former self. Layoffs, restructuring and cost-cutting so deep that competent, experienced employees are getting the ax and are being replaced by freshers - interns.

Culture of indecision, upper management creates chaos

Pros

There are plenty of opportunities to take on problems beyond the scope of your job description, access to training, and decent salaries for the Eindhoven region. Ambitious colleagues in all departments. The industry leader in lighting manufacturing with challenges aplenty still.

Cons

Firing rounds are poorly executed, and performance reviews are not factual. C-level ad-hoc decisions disrupt strategy and planning in every layer of the organization at least once every program increment. Every-department-for-itself culture. High turnover rate in BU management, corporate C-level stays in place.

Cons

- Toxic work environment. - Unsympathetic HR department. - Dysfunctional processes resulting in poor company performance. - Top-heavy management structure with a lack of young talent. - Lack of transparency in the restructuring and redundancy process. - Divisive nature of redundancy discussions. - Lack of empathy and support from management when getting rid of staff. - Illogical selection of staff for redundancy with no proper consideration of retaining skilled employees.
