Pros

A very nice office environment with friendly colleagues. Some of the senior management travel a lot or WHF so are not as visible. WFH offers great flexibility and empowerment. Some departments are quite busy whereas others are more calm. Lot of focus on culture and non-work employee focus activities. The Warwick office is a shared building with Tata and is very nice. Very good canteen albeit a little expensive. Employee perks are not as good as they used to, but are not bad. At group level I don't think everything is great, but AGT product line has been doing very well and to my knowledge had no redundancies in over 10 years, so it is a very safe company to work for

Cons

Siemens Energy at group level is quite turbulent. Some employees are openly critical of the seniors / CEO for the Gamesa mess (buying a company at an expensive price for it to then have some technical problems realised a few weeks after completing, and halving the share price...) Employee benefits beyond the salary are reducing. They tried to change "pensionable pay" definition so that the bonus no longer is included in what calculates your pension contributions. So if you got a £4k bonus and 10% pension contribution, this is a £400 reduction. Then the share purchase scheme is weak, especially with a falling share price means we have lost money on this recently. Optimistically, it can only improve here...
