Not a good place to work

Pros

The benefits are about the only good thing about this company.

Cons

To much overtime with poor planning of work flow. The company was best when it was Geneva but now has a very poor work environment with most new employees not staying. The expectations are unrealistic and many times cannot be met. If you are good at your job you will probably be stuck in that position with no promotions. Some of the management can be very unprofessional and don't know what they are doing. I have seen good employees be fired for small mistakes or maybe even something that was not even their fault. If you are a new hire you are usually a temp threw an agency and it takes about a year to get hired on if you get hired at all. I don't recommend this company unless you are desperate and have no other choices. I am sorry to be so negative but the truth hurts!

Great if you like doing emergency slide deck prep

Pros

Some very nice people in certain departments. Their products are free on the prescription plan if you need them.

Cons

Where to start... My Manager could best be described as a vicious Rottweiler that barks orders faster than a Chihuahua on speed. Directors spend over half their time on slide deck preparation. Underlings spend insane amount of time providing data for said decks. Not much value added work has been done in years. Top down edicts have demand & supply plans in chaos. A culture of fear is pervasive and turnover is sky high. Contractors will never be hired to full time but why would they want to be?

Pros

The only positive thing I can think it is the production of generics, but knowing the working culture I would probably choose another label myself. Career opportunities- sure if you want to kill yourself with job and never see your family. Very bad working culture, back stabbing, burn outs, long term sick leaves.

Cons

Bad management, time after time I was surprised how unprofessional they behaved , and I can compare to many larger and international successful companies. They all lack people management skills. They often did not understand on local level the global strategies or procedures that needed to be implemented and there was none support from management on change management. Management blamed employees. The culture will never change because the dudes are protecting and promoting each others in upper positions. Only and only political games, if you choose not to be part of it you loose and are out. If you complain or lift a problem you are very quickly been removed, they buy you out with big money. Back stabbing among employees, if problems you are left alone and everything you said will be used against you. No one dares, cares or have time to help you.Very bad work-life balance, insane deadlines and absolutely no management support. Unfair bonus systems. Objectives are not realistic and are subjectively "evaluated".
