It is not what it presumes to be

Pros

The direct companions and in your same level

Cons

We belong to the collective of external workers of Sage SPAIN, that they are working in the same offices, for between 1 and 6 years, of Sage's staff, and performing the same functions, but in unfit conditions. With thousand-euro salaries, without renewal or annual review, working more hours than the rest of the workers, without any type of stability or possibility of professional improvement, and obviously without right to commissions or improvements that many employees charge, it seems incredible that a company that presumes of human treatment, has a whole collective in the purest abandonment, something that we want to denounce here and with our clients.

Pros

They strive to improve, although they don't always succeed. Closeness of direct manager. The additional benefits, but we are losing them.

Cons

Many changes are driven not by results, but by preferences. Knowing the right people (know-who) is more important than knowing how to do things (know-how), which leads to certain professionals occupying roles that exceed their capabilities, while the actual work is done by profiles whose contributions remain invisible to management.

Absence of empathy and people-focused leadership at the senior level

Pros

Colleagues and direct managers are awesome, the best people I've ever worked with. Always there to help and support.

Cons

From a technical standpoint, the organization feels outdated and resistant to change. There is little to no drive for innovation or continuous improvement, and the culture encourages basic task completion over creative problem-solving or forward thinking. This stagnation is demotivating for those who want to grow and make a meaningful impact. Additionally, there is a noticeable lack of empathy and support from senior stakeholders, who appear disengaged from the well-being and development of their teams. This was underscored by a recent statement from the CEO: “If you don't agree with this decision, there is life outside Sage.” Such messaging reflects a dismissive attitude toward dissent and healthy dialogue—further reinforcing a top-down culture that discourages open communication and trust.
