Pros

Competitive salaries Intensive working hours on Fridays (9 am to 3 pm) and in July-August (8am to 3 pm) (Up to 15% of salary) Bonus based on company + individual results Up to 10 weeks of work from abroad Solid company Nice colleagues (can’t say the same about managers)

Cons

Mandatory 3 days a week at the office Difficult (or impossible) to get promoted Lot of hyerarchy, managers often disconnected from reality, don’t even know what they want, always setting unrealistic expectations and deadlines (in one word, toxic management)

Thank you for sharing your thoughts — we value your feedback and your voice. We understand that hybrid working can feel different for everyone, and we want to reassure you that our approach is designed to strengthen our people-centred culture. Being together in person for part of the week helps us build deeper connections, collaborate more effectively, and maintain the vibrant culture that makes Sage special — while still offering flexibility and balance. On career development, we’re proud to be hitting our internal mobility targets and are committed to helping colleagues grow in meaningful ways. We encourage you to explore the Sage Talent Marketplace, where you can take on short-term gigs across different teams, connect with mentors to sharpen your skills, and uncover new career paths you might not have considered. You can also reach out to our Talent Acquisition team for a career conversation — they’re here to help you navigate your ambitions and discover roles that align with your goals. We know that career journeys aren’t always linear, and many colleagues have found success through “squiggly careers” — exploring different areas and building a path that’s uniquely theirs. Thanks again for your feedback. If you have more to share, we’d love to hear it through our internal Always Listening survey.

Pros

- I made a review in the past in which I was talking very well about Sage, but lately things have changed. - Flexible work schedule with intensive day (9am to 3pm on Fridays and everyday in July-August). - Bonuses up to 15% of your salary.

Cons

- All "benefits" (insurance, meals etc.) are discounted from your salary, and then partially refunded when submitting your taxes. A real benefit is something the company really PAYS for you. - Not many holidays - Lately, it seems that all became very frenetic. - My latest salary review, happened at beginning of the fiscal year, is not keeping up with inflation and I'm sure they are aware of it. - We have recently been forced to show up at the office twice a week, but my team is all remote and I'm going to a noisy office to make video calls. - IT is very slow at solving your problems. My laptop broke and I waited several days to get a replacement. - Too many layers of hierarchy.

We appreciate your feedback and we are sorry that you feel your life at Sage experience has taken a dip. We adjusted our colleague's salaries, at the begging of the year, to give them extra support through these difficult economic times and we are sorry that you are not satisfied with your new package. We encourage you to please reach out to your manager and discuss your compensation concerns with them. We are strong advocates of our hybrid working model because we believe that connection and comradery are strengthened when people come together. Even if your team is not based in the office, it is still great that you get to mix with other colleagues from a social well-being perspective and also for networking purposes. We are becoming less hierarchical as well as we recognise that no matter our titles, we are all colleagues working together for the benefit of all our stakeholders. We hope that you shall continue to share your feedback with us regularly, both here and internally, so that we can always maintain an environment that empowers you to thrive!
