Pros

Learn a lot about the startup industry, thrown into projects pretty quickly. Always things to do, and you can make more money at this agency then most.

Cons

You were only valued if you were doing well. I saw people thrown out with no warning if they were having a rough quarter, people mistreated in the office, and people clearly the favorites because they billed well. It did not encourage career development. Even though its run by senior management, it operated more like frat house with people regularly getting way too drunk at events. Especially in the bay area, you can easily join a startup that pays way more and where people don't give you side eye for leaving after a ten hour day.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m really pleased to hear that you found plenty of opportunities to learn and get involved in projects as well as enjoyed good financial rewards during your time at Robert Walters. However, I’m concerned by the other points you have raised in your review as we really value all our people and believe in supporting them. This starts with creating a positive, professional work environment where everyone is treated with respect. Therefore, I would really appreciate the opportunity to hear more about your experience working with us and understand where improvements can be made. Please don’t hesitate to contact me in confidence at simon.bromwell@robertwalters.com. Thanks, Simon Bromwell, Managing Director – North America.

Pros

Location in Times Sq, the view, the building, some recruiters were professional (but then they left).

Cons

Unprofessional managing director, most of the recruiters who are still here are the fakest people I've ever met, toxic work environment. I paid $200+ for the worst insurance ever.

Pros

I honestly can't think of any pro's at my time with RW. Maybe the fact that the offices are beautiful and in a lovely location. That is all. There is a lot of room to grow but I couldn't last that long.

Cons

I felt as soon as I started I got treated like a temp, not a permanent member of staff. My colleagues seemed to judge me from day one, I also didn't recieve proper training because they were short staffed at the time. People are rude, unhelpful, and considering I came from a completely different background and tried my best, it was very difficult to fit in. This company is incredibly judgemental and snooty in my opinion and I wouldn't dream of working in a company like this again.
