Good company with the right values. Intelligent and cooperative employees, good leadership. Cutting-edge technology in a wide field target domains. Multiple career paths. Employee Stock program.

Cons

Outdated salary structures and compensation models which can't compete with today's expected income levels in (Software) Engineering. Petty politic struggles between subsidiaries at C-Level hinder cooperation and diminish chances for synergies, resulting in reduced productivity and increased cost overall.

My first 6 months at Rheinmetall have been a very positive experience so far. Great onboarding process, awesome programs to work on with a real belief attitude that makes things happen. Also loving the fortnightly RDO to properly recharge the batteries.
