Pros

Good benefits, 37.5 hour work week, good PTO

Cons

Always restructuring, often with no warning. Upper management doesn't seem to understand how the cuts impact the business, knowledgeable talented employees are regularly let go.

Pros

-There is diversity -Free parking provided

Cons

-Too many changes and layoffs within actuarial -Too much politics making it very hard for non ALDPs to move around and develop themselves as encouraged by the company -Be careful about which actuarial team you join as some don’t really care about your development as an actuary. You’ll only be working as a robot and not knowing what’s going on with the results as you’ll not be taught to do so. - Why you keep hiring new actuaries while laying off many of them? I feel like this is hypocritical.

Pros

Work from Home options exist

Cons

old school, not open to new ideas or ways of doing business, extremely entitled tenured work force, very average people with very little motivation. Every single day was boring and all people did was complain about having to work. Management is spiteful especially when it comes to young talent.
