Pros

Some good contacts, business model is interesting and you can learn a good amount related to the core drivers of the business.

Cons

Corporate culture is absolutely terrible. If your idea of a good work environment is to have a manager make continued unwanted sexual advances, HR do nothing despite repeated complaints, and said manager then beginning to sabotage and undermine your work as well as openly berate and insult you in front of colleagues, then this is the place for you. If not, I'd suggest steering clear!

Pros

Great employee benefits and the company provides a great resource for the policyholders. They constantly are developing cutting edge products.

Cons

Being the 'red headed' stepchild division of a major global company, the division is always seeking it's seat at the table. Has a tendency to change course too often leaving the feeling that your previous efforts were wasted

Pros

I have worked at Prudential for about 10 years which is the longest I have ever worked at any other Insurance company. I have stayed at Prudential because of the great culture, benefits, career development and overall great people to work with.

Cons

Prudential has locations all over the world. Once you reach a management level, some level of travel between locations becomes common. Non-management staff have little to no travel requirements since Prudential largely using Video Conferencing equipment.
