Pros

Established company with amazing talent and thoughtful processes and procedures. They care about their employees and have a big focus on talent mindset

Cons

Not honest about career development. They string you a long without being truthful. They never want to lose good talent but after a while the 'speeches' become untrustworthy

Pros

Great benefits: especially health insurance. Unlimited earning potential. Compared to peer companies, the first 2 years in this career are by far the best with this company. You will receive enhancement bonuses as you enter your first year that will slowly shift into performance based incentives. Management pays close attention to you during this time, because their compensation is tied to your survival.

Cons

The cons are up to you since this is a commission based job. A word of advice: don't jump into this career path without being armed with all the relevant information. If you are looking for stability you won't find it here immediately. It will likely take 4-5 years, assuming you can make it to that point. This is a 100% performance based position. For some that is a pro, for others a con. Take advantage of management while you have their attention, once you fall off of their pay grid, you will likely be forgotten.

Pros

Prudential as a whole is a strong company with solid financials and excellent Mergers and Acquisitions.

Cons

Some of the newer departments are extremely cut throat and do not value their employees input or opinions. Employees are expendable.
