Prudential Finance Internship

Pros

Really great culture - everyone is always willing to get coffee/lunch with you and answer your questions. Lots of exposure to senior level executives.

Cons

Located in Newark, NJ, which is not the nicest area. The internship is a pipeline to the FLDP program, which rotates you through roles in Hartford, CT and New Jersey, so you might have to move for a year.

Your time is very flexible and you arrange your own schedule everyday. There are varieties of products line you can choose from to meet different cliens need.

Cons

Stressful, as the job has sales quote, and will be reviewed by your team manager every week

Great workplace with great work life balance. They provide flexibility to work from home. Lots of internal transfer opportunities within the company.

Cons

Location is not ideal. Compensation package is not competitive to other prestigious financial institutions
