Pros

Benefits - dental medical 401k pension, Flexibility to spend time with friends and family, Great Sales Training, Great support staff

Cons

they don't tell you that you will only be paid a salary for the first 14 weeks and you will probably be broke for a few months after that, will try to sell their products to your friends and family

Pros

Easy, on the phone initial interview, followed by 2 in person interviewa. They pay for your SIE, Series 7 and Series 66.

Cons

They only pay a stipend while you're getting licensed, no set salary. Compensation is commission based, and the payment structure is a little sketchy - the people above you would make money off of your sales. Career progression within the company is very dull, not many avenues to choose from. The office in general seems very old school, not very conducive to productive work, it's your standard cubicle office with windows only available to executive staff offices.

Pros

-The people on my direct team were fantastic, and it seems most of the people at the lower and mid levels are good teammates -Pay was competitive

Cons

-Senior management seems far out of touch -Company went through large sets of layoffs that were not handled well at all, with little in the way of executive accountability and very sudden and unexpected announcements with the primary goal of managing more of the PR than the people. -Newark NJ is a horrible place to work, dirty, unsightly, higher than average crime
