      This company was disorganized with regards to maintaining their fleet of fuel cell

      Pros

      I learned a great deal and met a number of knowledgeable individuals. I was able to understand and view the Hydrogen fuel cell technology up close and try to wrap my head around this nifty addition to science.

      Cons

      I was never formally trained as promised once in my interview and again after my date of hire. I had to endure negative reinforced behavior from certain senior employees. I was yelled and cursed at while at work as well as having to endure constant phone calls for breakdowns due to lack of maintenance and training. Parts nor servicing was organized at the site.

      Pros

      Good scope in the market,Great engineering team to work with,flexible,easy going ,supportive, great technology(fuel cells) to work on and plenty of challenges and non linearity in engineering issues faced in deployment make the work more interesting , very friendly work culture at the non management level.Good location,lots of colleges around, "Plenty of fish" for college grads that are single coming into the job.

      Cons

      management makes promises that engineering cant keep up with and ends up losing more money than invested, when there is more work they lay people off.Short staffed in times of need,short of money because of managements desperation towards commercialization.Low Pay for all levels of employment since company is going through a tough phase.

      Pros

      New technology, science, new markets; sometimes acts like small company diversity; culture is open and loose opportunities to influence a start-up into commercialization has transitioned beyond the "not invented here" syndrome

      Cons

      Many times acts like large Fortune 500 company; unfocused, trying to put too many "lines in the water". fiscal management has been poor. Accountabilityextremely poor too many locations to support for such a small company with small revenue stream. Talented executives have mostly departed. Has had difficulty understanding what potential customers want and need. Was too focused on the science and a "build it and they will come" mentality cultural and management differences in different locations is a divide.
