Pros

When I started at OutSystems, I immediately fell in love with the awesome product, then with the extraordinary people that I've worked with every day. The company culture of excellence in everything we do, and of helping out the others to achieve their goals, hooked me good right from the start, never having a dull moment. And when you're empowered to innovate and build on top of an extraordinary product, then you know you're in the right place and have the right people and drive to take on the challenges to grow and become an extraordinary professional. I could list all the office goodies, perks, events, and niceties that makes OutSystems one of the best places to work. But to me, the thing that really matters at OutSystems is the vision, because it's also a passion, and it's ingrained in the company's culture, in each and every one of us. That's the greatest pro one can find in the workplace!

Cons

Not everything is perfect. There are a few caveats in this paradise. As we would expect in a fast growing company, the workload per employee is growing fast, faster then what we can keep up with recruiting. So it's very common to identify overworked teams or team members in any area of the company. It's a side effect of wanting to do a lot with a high level of excellency. It isn't necessarily bad, but it can overwork some areas. And of course, there's that thing about compensation & benefits that never seems enough. The salary grids are based on the local economic reality, and not at the global level. So the same position in different regions can have a significant value gap.

Pros

+ Great culture + Great people + Innovative product + Startup environment, allowing you to be exposed to a lot of what happens in the business

Cons

These cons aren't really cons per se, but more about things that people should bear in mind in terms of culture fit: - Single product organization means that opportunities to launch brand new products or spin-offs - You do need to be self-driven and motivated to make things happen, as you'll be working with a lot of smart, high-energy people so you need to keep up the pace!
