Worst time of my life
Pros
They have a lot of free stuff- good coffee, different kinds of milk, fruit and alcohol for Friday's. There's a 'family dinner' where Greg gives company updates and being an employee you get shares which you can sell off periodically which I guess is a nice boost to the salary.
Cons
Management does not care about the people on the phone unless they like to drink, take drugs and essentially are cool. They only promote their friends and with no HR department or union, bullying and discrimination is rife. They don't pay energy specialists very well really, considering how much they love throwing money about, and ES making up most of the staff because it's a very bottom heavy structure. They have an expectation for everyone to work themselves into the ground, evenings and weekends, for no extra pay and no promise that hard work will be recognised in anyway except Amazon vouchers so the company can avoid the tax and doesn't truly compensate for the amount of work being done. They have no holiday limit which just means everyone who is friends with management can take as much time as they want off and everyone that doesn't conform can just pick up the slack- basically be ready to be so far up your managers backside in order to just get a thank you. They promote young people to be team leaders and ops managers which on the surface seems great but they don't train anyone so all the managers are immature and I'll equipt to actually manage anyone so it's hard to trust them if you are actually a hard worker. I spent more time crying working in this place and I wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy. Thank God I got out
