Pros

Many very talented engineers working at the company. Aggressive, critical, negative management chased away tons of talent, but they eventually learned from their behaviors which led to a work environment that shifted from terrible to tolerable. Seems to be good at sniffing out profitable acquisitions.

Cons

"we are better than everyone" egotistical smugness, while treating the engineerings with combative attitudes. High attrition and difficulty hiring results in even longer work-weeks. Vacation+Sick lumped into single "PTO" means people show up to work sick, otherwise they have to use their vacation time. And when I was there pre-covid, management wanted butts in seats, very little work-from-home flexibility, because they didn't trust anyone. Low salary in belief of stock being the retaining force.

Pros

The types of work is definitely not boring. You get quite a bit of mixed of SW and HW type of customer and internal product dev support work. So, if you are an ambitious engineer wishing to learn complete product cycles, then this the company for you.

Cons

The company for some reason gets political. Sometimes you get a feeling that people don't trust one another. I think it's the cultural thing coming from the top. But as long as you stick to your work, which you should have plenty, you are OK.
