Pros

Telecommuting opportunities. Conscientious counterparts. Accrued vacation time.

Cons

Dishonest, ego-driven, dog-eat-dog management. The good ole’ boys club is alive and well at this company. If you are female, and dare speak truth to power, woe be unto you. Pay for performance is a laughable statement. Only the ‘yes’ employees are provided for. Those who dare to speak their truth and dare I say, do what is actually right, are punished in innumerable ways. Hard work and ethical behavior is not rewarded in the LM of new. Management accountability? Non-existent. Workloads are unbalanced, and for many, simply unmanageable. Management’s response? YOU do not know how to prioritize. Lean, LMS, and I believe the new shiny toy is now now Agile. Empty buzzwords in the absence of meaningful, thoughtful, sustained action.

Squeezing Every Drop

Pros

Some workplace flexibility, depends on department.

Cons

- Below average pay. - Office location in Boston is very inconvenient. More then 1/3 of the devs live in the suburbs/NH and the commutes are insane. - Benefits are mediocre, you basically don't have insurance. - Toxic management environment. Top down solutions, management pitting team members against each other. Requests to "volunteer" to work extra hours and put in extra effort. Threats of being laid off. - Hard to get promoted.

Cons

Subpar health insurance, office perks are lacking (spoons and forks on every floor? nahhh), pay is not keeping up with the Seattle area
