      He has little regard for his employees whose lives are devastated when the company is restructured-every 2-3 years.

      Pros

      After several years of employment, the quantity of vacation days received is the main motivation to continue employment

      Cons

      Little recognition of a job well done. After 20+ years many qualified and capable employees are performance managed right out of a job. The majority of the field employees either take vacation days to attempt to get "caught up" or if they are truely on a vacation with their families, they take their work phone and laptop so they don't get farher behind. There is very little training in some positions. There is no work/life balance to speak of (even when employees are 'encouraged' to spend time with their families- it is impossible if they want to keep their jobs)

      Pros

      If you live to work.... Liberty is the place. The pay is decent, but you have no time for yourself.

      Cons

      Management is very numbers driven. A key part of running a successful company no doubt. Unfortunately when the numbers are in the co.'s favor they react and make changes accordingly, but when it's in the employees favor they turn their head the other way and hope that no one notices.

      Pros

      Liberty Mutual offer a competive pay and a good compensation profit sharing incentive. Being a large company, there are great technologies that they have in their information technology department. Liberty Mutual has made improvements to being the company into one culture and drive one company focus for growth. The company offer very fexible in the work schedule for many employees.

      Cons

      They have put together many companies to grow the business. Each business has different company cultures that do not blend well together. The direction of the independent business was quiet different from the large corporate structure. Career opportunties are more one demensional.
