Pros

Supportive managers, advancement opportunities, flexible career paths and competitive compensation make this a great place to work. The structure of the company allows Liberty to make decisions for the long term as opposed to reacting to the stock price. I’ve had a chance to meet the CEO (Ted Kelly) at a training session back in 2008; my impression is that he cares about the company and its people. If you are a clock puncher this is not the company for you however, if you are engaged, intelligent, ambitious and a hard worker, then this is the place for you.

Cons

The employee health insurance benefits. Work/Life balance can be taxing at times however, show me a Systems Organization where it’s not. It’s the nature of the beast.

Pros

Salary, benefits and pension are well above average.

Cons

There is so much work that there is pressure not to take the many vacation days that the company provides. Also the company systemically terminates or reorganizes senior employees out of their jobs so they cannot take advantage of the excellent pension system. The idea of good service for the sake of good service has been lost. The prevailing idea is now providing the cheapest possible service that the customer will accept without bolting.

Pros

Everyone needs Health Insurance and time off. At least they give you that.

Cons

They do not respect you. They micromanage. They do not promote from within despite their million dollar campaign about "responsibility". They do not want to hear any criticism. They load you up on work, expect it to get done in a certain time frame, but never tell you how to accomplish that task. They give their appraisers insane time frames to get appraisals done, knowing that they cant possibly get them completed without skipping lunch or breaks and not allowing overtime. I could go on and on about the current atrocities happening at this company but I already sound like I am whining. I just wanted to be sure to let people know - beware about working here. It is not a smart career move because once you become a senior employee, unless you have catered to Senior Management's every whim without saying "boo" you will find yourself demoted.
