Pros

overall company attempts at growth and progression but falls quite short. some flexible work schedules are allowed. easy.

Cons

micro management, too many meetings, pay is not to industry or geographic norms. Lots of cost saving initiatives taking place including taking away our creamer and cups but the company then will spend thousands on frivolous things like flying out an industrial hygienist from the research institute to locate a smell someone is having issues with. Lots of turnover with legal department, claims, etc.

Pros

Pay is ok, benefits are ok, FTO allowance is pretty good. Some smart people work here, I'm referring to your coworkers NOT managers.

Cons

Micromanagement city. I started from the very bottom and I can tell you this company does not care about the employees. They have metrics you are held accountable for that are not possible. Stress so bad many people have to take stress leave. Literally. Good ol' boy management still exists unfortunately.

Pros

Awesome team environment. Occasional friendly competition with other teams make work fun. Fun site events regularly. Very in depth and thorough training. Fun food trucks scheduled. Solid, stable company to work for. Down to earth management test tries real hard to keep lines of communication open both ways. Important 15 min huddle every day allows teams free time to have meaningful conversations.

Cons

Numbers, or metrics driven call center work. Focus is on handle time with a disturbing focus on fishing for a lead on every call you take. You must offer another product on every call, example, life insurance, home, renters ect. A percentage of those calls must result in a successful lead or you are not meeting expectations and can be fired. Not treated like an adult. If you switch to "personal" time for a few moments off the phone to go to the restroom, you'll return to your desk to find a manager checking up on you.
