Pros

They recently decided to let a lot of people work from home in other states, not Arizona, but I think that will help a lot of us with kids, and pets and issues with vehicles. I also think the pay is decent for some roles- but not all.

Cons

Working at Liberty Mutual in Chandler, AZ you will find NO work-life balance. After getting licensed, they still treat you like a basic unskilled customer service agent as opposed to a licensed insurance agent. They just rolled a program called COGITO out which is artificial intelligence that listens to your calls and tells you when you are not doing well on a call with a policyholder. It was designed to tell you when your energy is low or too high or when you are too silent- totally ignoring the fact that we are human and know when to reply and or may have a bad day or medicine or medical condition preventing us from being SUPER high energy. There is constant change, with no regard to pay scale and or the fact that we all have to deal with stats and upset customers they raise prices on while adhering to their policy changes. There is no gray area, it seems to all be black and white. The turn over rate is high and it has a lot to do with the impossible metrics and forcing Insurance agents who work in customer service to hunt down leads- aggressively. There are several supervisors and managers within the Chandler CRC who are passive aggressive and really nasty! They try and pretend and hide it behind false professionalism, but it's a high-stress environment because most people believe they will be fired any day for doing anything wrong- most of us have been here over 2 years and still feel this way!

Pros

The flexible scheduling was really nice for work/life balance.

Cons

Poor training programs, extremely high volume and nuanced work, little to no recognition for any amount of progress. A stereotypical, large corporation. The company is going through a lot of changes internally to cut costs in ways that negatively impact incredibly dedicated people.

We appreciate your review, but we're sorry to see that you wouldn't recommend us based on your experience. We set high expectations for our employees, but we always aim to back up those expectations with training, communication, and manager support. It sounds like you don't feel you received that training. Thanks for sharing your concerns so we can work to make continuous improvements.
