High volume work, low reward - Insurance Assistant Liberty Mutual Insurance Employee Review

Pros

The flexible scheduling was really nice for work/life balance.

Cons

Poor training programs, extremely high volume and nuanced work, little to no recognition for any amount of progress. A stereotypical, large corporation. The company is going through a lot of changes internally to cut costs in ways that negatively impact incredibly dedicated people.

We set high expectations for our employees, but we always aim to back up those expectations with training, communication, and manager support. It sounds like you don't feel you received that training. Thanks for sharing your concerns so we can work to make continuous improvements.

Pros

Decent pay, way to start in insurance, decent training, nice facility with lots of parking.

Cons

Unbelievable workload that cannot be completed in an 8 hour period. However, it is expected to be done with no overtime allowed. Coworkers crying at their desk due to receiving a weeks worth of work in 1 day. Can crush all of your marks just to be met with well for this reason you only meets, so here is your 3%.
