Cons

Management is very incompetent, benefits are shrinking, don't expect to get days off unless you plan your off time 1 year in advance.

Good place to start in insurance as they do provide a reasonable base salry your 1st 2 years

Pros

A base pay that is reasonable for the 1st two years helps a new agent build a book of business and still survive as opposed to being commission only or be on a tiny "training bonus"

Cons

Although there is a base pay initially, renewal dollars pale in comparison to other carriers...you will never make the kind of large $'s you may expect for years of hard work that you would with other carriers. Commission on LIfe Insurance is weak, as is the product. Good place to start in the industry, but not a good place to build a long-lasting career

Severence Pay, Benefits, hours, current manager ok

Cons

Getting too big, eating up other insurance companies, Ted Kelley obsessed with being within the top 5, buys up all small insurance companies then lets the best workers go with the most time with the company, gets rid of employees within 5 years of retirement.
