Pros

- Pay is decent - Benefits are decent - Fully remote scheduling (flex scheduling)

Cons

- Seemingly constant org changes and shifts - Disingenuous business partners who have weaponized procedural ambiguity and reorgs to shove work off onto other groups, despite the work fitting squarely within said business partners' scope - Disconnect between senior leadership and the folks struggling to keep their heads above water, - Culture of passing the buck where seemingly no one wants to own their own work and instead relies on my department to clean the diapers of all other involved departments because they refuse to stay on top of their work. - I am glorified babysitter these days,

Pros

Excellent benefits, flexible work schedules, and opportunities to serve the community.

Cons

Arbitrary and biased metrics: When performance is measured unfairly, it can demotivate employees and lead to unfair treatment. No opportunity to move up or laterally: Limited career growth can be frustrating for many employees. Continued outsourcing overseas, overfocused on numbers, not people: Outsourcing and an excessive focus on numbers can negatively impact employee morale and job security. More and more details added to workflow without compensation: Increasing workload without compensation is a common complaint and can lead to burnout. Unlicensed reps promoting insurance products.

Pros

The retirement benefits were good but that's about it

Cons

the company at one time was a very good place to work, but the current leadership has made a complete mess of things. Claims is incredibly toxic and hostile. Everything is micromanaged. The workload is unimaginable and completely undo-able. The stress is incredible. And senior leadership just doesn't care. They preach putting people first, but the reality is profits and executive bonuses are always first. I would not recommend someone I despised to work at Liberty Mutual. I could not ever be that cruel to another human being.
