Not worth the stress

Pros

Above average pay, work-life balance - yearly bonuses based on company results. Love my peers. Other than that, not worth it.

Cons

High stress, poor high level decision-making, unbearable workloads. The pay/work-life balance makes it tough to leave even though you'll be on meds. Getting worse every year. New management system put in place to make things more efficient leaving no time to do your job and in all reality makes everything much more inefficient. Decisions made from the top not well thought out and results in huge problems for the people that do the actual work.

Pros

Great people, great working flexibility and work/life balance (at least in IT - can't speak for the markets), determined to be cutting edge in IT

Cons

Health insurance offerings have gone from top notch to bottom of the barrel; certain areas seem to have difficulty supporting career growth for women; limited management opportunities in IT due to organizational changes

Good salary, Toxic politics

Pros

Salary for the IT side is good. Benefits are not the best, but could be worse. There is lateral mobility within the company.

Cons

Company culture is antiquated, a lot of favoritism at all levels. The politics make for a chaotic and sometimes toxic environment. This is a company that is wants to be "hip" and cool, but is missing the mark--Cool is not the floor plan or color of sofas.
