Pros

- GREAT benefits and PTO - Good working schedule - Job description well thought out and descriptive of actual job duties - Good team dynamics (Note: can depend on the team you're working with) - Mix of desk work and physical movement - Great onsite employee inclusion groups and recognition events

Cons

- Not a lot of in person/on the job training - Lots of SOP reading/videos (Note: not great for people that are visual learners) - Management/group/department/co-worker hierarchies are difficult to navigate/figure out - Can be difficult to find work to do when you don't know much of the science ie little support for non-chemist support roles - Pay could be better but it's not terrible

Pros

None whatsoever, You can make this money elsewhere with less stress and less interruption to your life and less responsibility just about anywhere

Cons

Everything- Over the past months, I have dedicated myself to ensuring timely and safe deliveries, often under challenging circumstances. However, several persistent issues have made it increasingly difficult to continue in this role. Workload and Scheduling: The unpredictable schedules and frequent last-minute route changes have made it challenging to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Although the job may appear to be within a standard work week, the reality is that I’m putting in closer to 60 hours a week when you factor in the unpaid time spent maintaining and managing the company vehicle assigned to me. This includes everything from car washes (out of pocket) to oil changes to handling mechanical issues, towing, and arranging rentals— all of which is necessary to keep things running, yet completely uncompensated. Management and Support: While my immediate supervisor was fair and demonstrated actual leadership, there has been a noticeable lack of support from middle and upper management. Concerns raised about vehicle maintenance, route planning, and workload distribution often go unaddressed. Additionally, the training provided was minimal, leaving many to navigate complex procedures without adequate guidance. It’s more like a marketing presentation than any type of actual skill training in my observation. Compensation and Benefits: While the provision of a company vehicle appears to be a benefit, you are charging employees to be your fleet managers. In general, the overall compensation does not reflect the demands and responsibilities of the role and it’s clear that the company preys on older individuals whom they can exploit for low wages and free vehicle maintenance. The pay, what little there is, remains stagnant with limited opportunities for advancement or recognition while the CEO’s and shareholders enjoy ever greater bonuses and dividends year by year. Work Environment: The work environment is unsupportive. Instances of favoritism and inconsistent enforcement of policies have contributed to a sense of inequity among staff. I would like to be able to say I have valued the opportunity to serve in this capacity and am grateful for the experiences gained, however, working here has been one of the lowest and most stressful points of my life.

Pros

Policies and systems are in place. Some processes are well-structured. Provide very good training.

Cons

Managers tend to interfere in personal matters rather than focusing on work. Micromanagement and lack of trust hurt morale. The workload is too high and often unrealistic.
